   Established EMG Hardware +
               Innovative Software =
                      A New AT Switch

Electromyography (EMG) technology has long been used to diagnose and analyse neuromuscular conditions.

NeuroEDUCATOR, built by Therapeutic Alliances Inc. (TAI) of Fairborn OH, has been an exemplary EMG monitor for two decades.

NeuroSwitch uses data from NeuroEDUCATOR and processes it with unique** software to enable people with severe disabilities to  control regular Assistive Technology (AT) programs and devices.

NeuroSwitch and
NeuroEDUCATOR are FDA listed and registered.

** US Patents pending, foreign patents granted.  Contact us for details.

Reading Your EMG Signals

Electromyography (EMG) sensors (2, 3 and 4 above are each different kinds of commonly used sensors) are linked by snap-on leads (1 above) to a NeuroEDUCATOR monitor.

Sensors may be placed anywhere on the body where a viable EMG signal can be detected - often at sites where a muscle is considered non-functional.

The noninvasive, painless sensors can usually be worn comfortably for days.

Once properly connected a user can control NeuroSwitch virtually intuitively.

Turning Your EMG Signals into Actions

1  Electromyography signals are fed by
the cable (1) to the NeuroEDUCATOR
    EMG monitor.
2  NeuroEDUCATOR processes the EMG
    signals, and sends the data
3. to NeuroSwitch which uses unique
    software to identify the user's
    commands, filter out spasticity, and
4. process them into switch signals to
5. the Standard AT Interface Plug
(SATIP)
