Support and Funding

We can support a NeuroNode user anywhere in the world, so long as there is an Internet or phone connection.

With the purchase of the NeuroNode, the user automatically receives:

  • Free online installation and a live setup session with Control Bionics trainers and assistive technology software consultants via GoTo Assist to ensure the user and caregivers are confident using the system;
  • Free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, live online Technical Support, including 2-way webcam support, for 12 months, with the option to extend.

Upon request, we can remotely access the user’s system to help with communications, control, upgrades, and fixes. Our support covers all aspects of the system, including the NeuroNode and supplied software. It also covers usability issues and basic customization of user software.

Finance and Funding Options

The NeuroNode has been fully funded for Veterans under the care of the Veterans Health Administration following as assistive technology assessment with a qualified VA clinician. The device is also covered in Australia under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We are happy to help users and clinicians with any information required for funding applications.

If your are not eligible for Government or Veterans Health Funding we may be able to assist with a Control Bionics Time Payment Plan.

Some people have used crowd-funding sites to cover the cost of the NeuroNode. We like Giveforward, which is like Kickstarter, but for crowd-funding medical expenses. Their staff will be happy to help with the fundraising effort.

The NeuroNode is listed and registered with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Powered Communications System (PCS), FDA registration E505715, and an Environmental Control Unit (ECU), FDA registration E505716.

Your Warranty

The NeuroNode is guaranteed for 24 months (except in circumstances of loss or willful damage) and will be replaced free of charge if there are any issues with the equipment during this period. This warranty does not apply to batteries or accessories.
