What NeuroSwitch Does

Simply, NeuroSwitch lets you operate any Assistive Technology (AT) program that can be controlled by a conventional switch, such as a press switch, or proximity switch, or a sip-and-puff switch, or an eye-controlled switch, on an Apple MacBook Pro computer.

Conditions such as severe quadriplegia due to acute spinal cord injury (SCI) or motor neuron disease can cause conventional switches to become unreliable or ineffective.

NeuroSwitch is designed to work from the start, and continue even when disabilities become extreme.

It enables reliable computer control from day-to-day communications with carers, loved ones and correspondents online, to Augmentative Communications and Assistive Technology in the classroom.

"We tried so many switches that eventually couldn't work as the (ALS) progressed. My advice is to get NeuroSwitch as soon after diagnosis as possible... it keeps working when the others stop being effective." Sister of person living with ALS, USA
