FUNDING + HEALTHCARE REIMBURSEMENT SPECIALIST

Control Bionics is seeking a funding consultant to help coordinate the submission and follow-up of new product and trial equipment orders. This individual will work closely with sales consultants, clinicians, clients and their family members, as well as various government agencies and education systems in order to efficiently and effectively process client orders and insurance claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication with sales consultants as funding applications are processed
  • Work directly with funding agencies to place new product purchases, repairs and trials
  • Review funding documents in preparation for submission to ensure all requirements are met
  • Follow proper policy and procedure set up by Control Bionics and various funding agencies
  • Utilize online resources and maintain frequent communication with funding agencies to ensure eligibility.
  • Utilize order management system to ensure orders are entered and completed
  • Serve as a client advocate through communication with clients and clinicians on funding requests and co-pay requirements
  • Resolve third party denials and seek resolutions to finalize difficult funding cases.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of related experience
  • A background in health insurance reimbursement is preferred

Skills needed:

  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to cooperatively interact with families and professionals
  • Superior organizational skills

  • Must complete a background check

SALES CONSULTANT

Control Bionics is actively seeking sales consultants in the US. While the company’s headquarters are based in Milford, Ohio we are looking to hire remotely for this position.

Control Bionics is a high tech start-up style company helping people better their lives. With a focus in the assistive technology field, Control Bionics aim is to build a team dedicated to our clients. As a new, emerging company in the AT space this role will be responsible for managing sales of the Control Bionics speech generating product line within their territory.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required, Masters Degree in Speech, Special Education, OT, Assistive Technology Specialist or related field is preferred.

  • Flexible and willing to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances
  • Ability to cooperatively interact with families, professionals, funders, clients of all ages

  • Attain sales quota by working your assigned territory and building strong customer relationships by educating them on the use and benefit of NeuroNode products and services
  • Ability to use or willingness to learn Salesforce.com for sales forecasting, account management and quoting

  • Frequent overnight travel
  • Provide own transportation
  • Provide current driver’s license and Certification of Insurance for personal car
  • Must complete a background check
