The intersection of sports science and technological innovation was on full display at the PEAK 2026 conference in Las Vegas. For the Control Bionics team, the event served as a premier platform to demonstrate how our latest advancements are reshaping the landscape of athletic monitoring and rehabilitation. Representing the company at our exhibit hall booth,  Jeremy Steele, Tanner McGladrie, and Jeff Kitchen engaged with a diverse array of industry leaders, researchers, and elite sports organizations.

The primary focus of our participation was the introduction of NeuroStrip, our cutting-edge wireless wearable sensor and app. Weighing only four grams and applied as easily as an adhesive bandage, NeuroStrip represents a significant leap forward in surface electromyography (sEMG). Unlike traditional, cumbersome equipment, this non-invasive device captures high-fidelity bioelectric signals and spatial data with unrivaled clarity, allowing clinicians and coaches to detect muscle activation even before visible movement occurs.  The NeuroStrip application drives insights into muscle activity that can be used not only for sports performance, but also for physical therapy and research.

Session recap from NeuroStrip software

Throughout the conference, we were privileged to connect with representatives from prestigious organizations, including the US Tennis Association, US Olympic & Paralympic Fencing, Las Vegas Lights FC, Paris Saint-Germain, FIVB, Catapult, and Red Bull Performance. These interactions opened doors for sophisticated clinical conversations regarding the application of real-time EMG data in performance profiling, injury prevention, and accelerated return-to-play protocols.

The reception from both executive decision-makers and attendees was exceptionally positive. Many former athletes remarked on the transformative potential of the technology, noting how such precise, real-time insights could have altered their own professional journeys. This feedback, paired with the opportunity to refine our messaging for different clinical and athletic audiences, has validated the significant market demand for NeuroStrip.

As we look beyond PEAK 2026, Control Bionics remains committed to filling the gaps in sports tech by providing practical, portable, and powerful tools that empower the next generation of athletes. Contact us to learn more about NeuroStrip.
